That's just objectively incorrect, isn't it?
Some people will objectively have a bad life and can't achieve what society deems as acceptable because they were born in poverty for example and because of many more terrible things that happen to them; not because they are the unavoidable harsh truths of real life, but because WE let them happen.
Others will have a bad life (me) because I don't care about what society deems acceptable and yet I reap the consequences of going against my human nature, first and foremost from the human body (which sucks) and then society (which hates different individuals). However I kind of fall in the first paragraph too, more so in the unmentioned terrible things part.
Anyways what do you think about the message from the quotes? are they right or is that just their bias talking?
