I'm not a lawyer, nor do I know anything in your state/country..... But I will say that in my family that had trusts, filed by lawyers--even those weren't followed. They basically weren't worth the paper they had print put on. I mean one said "divide the money" and the person didn't. over 10 years later, and multiple court dates, and we've still not received a cent.

So will or not, if you meant to do something might really depend on where you are--because from my personal experience in the USA, things don't matter at all, people will do whatever they want whether you say "split everything" or "jump in a lake"

This is a free simple site to document your wishes.
Store all important documents, Some need witnessing, some need a notary.
Appoint who you want to take charge.
Make your wishes known, music, food, OR nothing.
Share your information with the one/s you trust.

You don't have to. Depends on your assets and if you want them to go somewhere specific. You can name a beneficiary on many accounts. I did a "pay upon death" designation on my bank accounts to allow family access to the money.

If you have "assets" like money, property etc and want certain people to get them then yes you need one. Even a "holographic" (not 3d image...it means handwritten etc) will might do. If you have no written wishes then the court decides who gets what. But even with a will the hospital and companies who billed you (ambulance/hospital etc that respond to your death...funeral etc) for stuff get first dibs and the court will pay them from what you have before giving it to your chosen people. Corporations are most important don't you know.

If you have money or things you want people to have its best to give it to them if you can without suspicion...or hide it under the bed etc with instructions to them or a trusted person to disburse it. That way corporations cannot get their hands on it. If it's in a bank account or the court knows about it...they will spend it on your debt and give the scraps out.
