Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

It's so stressful thinking about it, I just want to fully understand but most people in this world are horrible and I can't stand it. Why can't people just be nice and not corrupt, I mean I'm one to talk but yeah. And regarding light, I don't think he was ever a good person, mikami on the other hand was a good person, just maybe not the smartest . I believe death should be given to those that won't reform and will remain a threat to others 100% no debates. It's just difficult when someone has 'changed' or their actions were 'justifiable'. That's when it's difficult
You're not alone, and I wish we had the true answer for why people act the way they do (me included) but we don't. Morality is always going to be complex unfortunately, but the more you think about it…the better imo.

Yeah I absolutely hate myself for my past actions, I'm ashamed in them. My ex posted abt me here not too long ago and some of the people who have replied to mewere also some of the people calling me weird in her post (I won't spread usernames). It hurts cause I feel like a liar yet I'm also being lied to. I may be a horrible person but I also feel misunderstood. The things that were said abt me were either heavily exaggerated or simply not true, tbh idk why I'm yapping I'm still a POS
Sorry for venting like that, it's just all these complexities regarding morality reminded me of that

Self reflection is good! I'm sorry that you got put in the middle of all that, this forum can definitely attract some weird/rude people but the best thing to do is just ignore them honestly. No need to apologize either, venting is fine if it's reasonable.

It's not the people here that was rude, they said the best thing abt the situation to her, but it's the way she worded it. Nobody here has done anything wrong, it's just like people on her post said I should like live with embarrassment or smth like that I can't remember. Given the context she gave, it made sense, that person said nothing wrong, it just hurts idk why.
Yeah I hate how much people get away with in this society, however it's difficult to install death penalty in case of false accusations and other factors. Is there any ideas others have had to restore justice to those that deserve it
i've come to believe suffering may be worse than death at times .. so perhaps bad people may be doomed to a life of suffering before the grace of death
I feel like I'm bad, I know people that I believe are bad. Recently my morals have changed from thinking everyone deserves a chance so they can reform themselves(like even the worst crimes) to everyone who does horrible things to people deserves to die, is this a messed up way of thinking, am I evil for even thinking this way?
Bad people deserve karma. Death is just death. It's not inherently good or bad. It's all about circumstance and the meaning we assign to it. (Assuming death is nothingness)

I don't think so, i don't believe in karma. I think none of us "deserve" anything. We are here, we are hurting each other, we are hurting ourselves. There is no meaning to suffering, no such thing as evil. you can hate but the universe really doesn't care. I try not to let hate control me, but im only human

I used to think similarly, I thought nobody deserves death, I thought that everything is a mistake. I understand you might not think as extreme as me, what do you think we should do with like the worst of the worst people? Would it be immoral for them to be killed?
I'm kind of past believing in who "deserves" what because in practice people rarely get what they can be said to deserve, whether that's good or bad. That said I think if your life is unbearable you should have a right to end it

That's the one bit you said at the end I've come to terms with, like I feel like some people shouldn't end it but maybe some people need to, I try not to delve into that as much. But yeah it's rlly unfortunate regarding that most good people have worse lives than most bad people, it rlly sickens me. This website is mostly made up of good people (some may have done bad things but they regret it) and all these people want to die, it breaks my heart. I genuinely hate this world so mucj

I don't know about moral, what would it fix? The pursuit of keeping everyone safe from bad people maybe, but punishment doesn't mean anything? there is no such thing as atonement. Those who damage and ruin might have peace one day. or they might not. Say I hurt somebody, really deeply ruin someone's life through one action or another, is there a future for me? Why not? Everything is a statistic, there is no such thing as a rule. Good things happen to bad people. Bad things happen to good people. Victims move on, they don't. Most bad people are at the end of the day just deeply weak individuals who fail to cope in a healthy way.
Ps. actually just rambling but thats what this site is for lol

Yeah no I agree with you, I guess my beliefs come partly from my emotions than logic however I do believe the world would be a safer place if there was some way to get rid of the worst people like murderers, SA perpetrators, cheaters and essentially anyone who harm people for no good intentions. Dw about rambling, people probs hate me here cause of how much I yap

Dw i hate a lot of people too. I've been hurt in the past, i wish my perpetrators no good will, luckily enough for me, they all tend to be losers with little chance of success. I definitely speak from a place of privilege in that regard.

i actually don't think bad people deserve to die. the biggest problem with death penalties is that... you do NOT want the state/authority to have the power to kill. the death penalty has historically been used to punish and kill minorities (ex. blacks, lgbt). not to mention, people can be wrongfully convicted
on a moral level, i do believe everyone should be given the equal opportunity to reform. this does include pedophiles, rapists, murderers and domestic abusers. this does NOT mean they should be treated with a soft glove, but on the basis that life is a human right. if you want prison reforms, you can't say "i don't agree with the death penalty... except for X". people have the right to be alive, reform, be incarcerated and to be punished. i want criminals to be reformed; i would rather have a reformed pedophile be my grocer cashier than to have pedophiles who relapse after not being able to re-enter society and have nothing to lose.

adding before someone replies: im a victim of COCSA. im not a darkshipper, i dont support pedophillia/murder/domestic abuse. i genuinely think that prison dehumanizes criminals and is unjust, and that death for criminals should be abolished, tho.

Yeah I definitely think that the government wouldn't be trusted with death penalties for way more reasons that the one provided. I understand that you want people to reform, however it's very unrealistic due to the vast amount of criminals, as well as the fact that there's a large chunk of them that wouldn't reform no matter how much. It's not that I disagree with you, I'd love a world where people can be happy and reform from mistakes, but it's very risky and it doesn't sound realistic (in my opinion)
Y
I'm anti death penalty but only cause of false accusations, if there was a way to 100% prove that someone did a crime and has no intention of improving, that person should be deleted from society in my opinion
