edit; oh localmonero works too, but it's mostly cash in mail and more costly, more convenient thoMonero (XMR) is what most marketplace vendors use these days.
Getting it can be a bit of a pain depending where you are but it's easily enough obtainable.
Localmonero was an excellent site to source XMR but afaik it's been closed down.
Oh yeah, and do not trade bitcoin for monero the fees are ridiculous. I was buying litecoin and trading into monero with that, far lower exchange fees.Similar threads
