I got a welfarecheck too last week. I am also in Canada. I ordered my sn from dmc middle of February and my sn was stuck at custom for almost a month.
Police officers took me to the hospital and I had to stayed there one night. I had to speak with psychiatrist before they discharge me.

This is horrible. Seems 2 from Canada. And at least 7? from UK .

Haven't seen any from the U.S. hope it's only Uk and Canada and not in the U.S.

Has anyone who received a welfare check reached out to the guy on WhatsApp and expressed their concern for a potential leak of info? If I was in his place, I would like to know that multiple customers are getting caught in customs and having welfare checks. I would ask him myself, but I do not want to reveal how I know multiple people got welfare checks.

You stated that they knew it was gonna be used for suicide. Do you think this was a tactic to instill fear? Or do you think they actually knew? Because SN gets used for meat curing all the time.

I'm glad I have another method lined up then. I cannot risk welfare checks as I don't live alone. I have found a source for methylmethaqualone. Unfortunately there is not a ton of information on the specific drug so I don't know how long it will take for me to pass after ingestion, so I plan on staying in a hotel for a couple days.

Good question. I think they had a pretty good feeling it was going to be used to CTB. The Kenneth Law case has put the usage of SN officials' radar in the past few years.

One of the first things the officer said was "We know that people are using SN for suicide" when he came to my door.

Wow... Did you say you were actively suicidal (plan + intent to CTB) to the police? I don't think they should've commited you after especially if its been over a month since you ordered.

You're the first person I've ever heard of having a welfare check in Canada. I've order twice from DMC, everything went fine, no checks etc. just saying.

Back when Kenneth Law [in Canada himself] was selling SN, people in several countries got welfare checks, including Canada. So I'm not surprised the RCMP are doing welfare checks again, it's not their first time dealing with SN orders.

Well, this is infuriating and sad. People really need to mind their own business when it comes down to someone making choices about their own lives. But oh I guess it's not profitable for the government to let people go, because who's gonna stay and pay taxes, and buy all the useless crap they produce, and pay all the medical bills etc, oh no, they will go broke if more people ctb!

Just wanted to come on here and warn others about wanting to get SN.

I got a welfare check late last week and ordered in early March from DMC, although the package never arrived to customs until around March 20th per tracking. I never got the SN delivered.

Welfare check was pretty chill honestly. They just wanted to make sure I was ok and knew that it was going to be used for suicide. Gave the usual crap about "resources" like the crisis line. I stated that I was ok and then they left.

Now I need to find another source

did dmc refund u or offer another free package? i asked prior to ordering and he said thats what he does. im in the western provinces and i just ordered today, he ships out tomorrow, should i ask if its too late to stop it?

Honestly, if this had come from a brand new account, I'd have side eyed it hard like I have been. We've seen a flood of questionable welfare check posts lately. But your account's older, and you've been around, so I'm more inclined to believe this is legit now. It does add to the idea that DMC may be on radar in certain regions now.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if DMC's storefront handed over customer data to Interpol or national authorities. The timing lines up, and we've now seen several long standing users report failed deliveries, customs delays, and sudden welfare checks.
That said, for anyone reading, this doesn't mean ordering SN automatically triggers a welfare check. Most cases still go through fine, especially with discretion and minimal online trail.

The key takeaway is we need to stop oversharing sources online and/or outside of the sanctuary.

how to minimize online trail? i havent been using a vpn or anything when i visit this site or when i ordered, but i used a gift card as opposed to my own.

are u in the western or eastern provinces? i just ordered tonight and he said it ships tomorrow, im worried, should i try to ask to stop it + refund? i paid with an amazon gift card so im not even sure how thatd work

TBH, i don't think it is it. Sources here are shared in DM anyway...So if they get ahold of an account, they can open the DMs the same way that they have access to sanctuary.
I'd rather pick the more obvious solution : one the personn passed away after ingesting SN, they looked at the package wich was near. And there is nothing we cand o about this. Like people who dont delete their history / Sasu account etc. And i for sure wont blame them, too.

You're not wrong that DMs aren't some impenetrable vault. If an account gets compromised, it's all laid bare, whether it was public or private. But I still think oversharing plays a part.
But that's what I meant. Not the occasional helpful nudge in a DM, but the breadcrumb trails we leave in full view often without realising how searchable they are, or how easily they can be cross referenced.
And a lot of the time, those who pass get their accounts wiped so that can't happen.

Yeah, I posted that. He hadn't been notified about them. He asked if I knew how to get the SN past Customs inspections as well, but I don't have a clue how to.
