Hello

I'm new here, just joined, but have been reading threads on the site for some time. An event this morning has been the catalyst to finally joining and taking steps.
With that in mind, I've decided I want to CTB via SN. It's not the easiest way, but seems like the most pain-free and peaceful (in reason) and least likely to fail if done right. I live alone, so no concern over being found out/saved, so it's fairly foolproof in that regard. I'll just have to have the stomach for it.
Exit bag would be good, but I have no way to get a big tank and piping to my home as I don't drive and live quite a way out from shops.

I've read up on Stan's Guide, but I'm struggling to get access to some of the required items and/or I'm unsure of the ones I've found:
  • Antiemetics - I can't seem to find any over-the-counter tablets with the active ingredient(s) noted (Dromperidone / Metoclopramide / Olanzapine / Alizapramide / Chlorpromazine / Prochlorperazine).
    • I have found Buccastem (a brand) which can be bought at Boots. The active ingredient in this is Prochlorperazine maleate - does the 'maleate' addition to the name change the strength/reaction/purpose etc.? Will it have an adverse effect to the purpose I'm seeking to use it for?
    • Also, two concerns I have with Buccastem in general is that;
      1. They're for migraine sickness, not stomach sickness
      2. They're only 3mg per tablet, not the recommended 10mg.
    • Would these two concerns also be founded and therefore I should avoid and seek an alternate?
  • Antacid - Would something as simple as Rennie (a well-known UK brand) do the job? The description on the Rennie website says: "Rennie is an antacid which neutralises excess stomach acid simply by turning it in to water and other natural substances, rather than masking it." Is this what I'm looking for? The suggestion is yes, but I want to be sure. No point going through this rigamarole if I'm just going to vomit.
  • SN itself - the biggie. There seems to be different variants of which I should buy and the majority of retailers in the UK only seem to sell to educational institutions or businesses. I could buy from another country but I don't know that I would trust what I'm getting, plus I'm not keen to wait for delivery. Advice on this would be appreciated.
  • Water - Should I drink still or sparkling? Or tap? ...Just kidding.
Ibuprofen and paracetamol is easily obtained from virtually any shop, so that's no problem.
I'm UK-based which seems to make things trickier to track down and buy, but I'm sure it's the same everywhere in reality.

Apologies if the above seems obvious/lazy to some, I've never considered this method before and seems like the next best thing after an exit bag. I've done my research but some sites and information is conflicting or at least feels like it is or might be, so I'd rather be confident in my plan by doing what anyone does if they're unsure about something -- they ask.
I feel comfortable talking about this openly on this site, having seen such supportive and kind responses to other people's struggles and questions, so I'm hoping I'll get the same for mine.

Thanks in advance.

I think the more well known Antiemetic brand I've heard on here is Primperan. The antacid brand Tagamet is also common, more so in the US. SN is getting harder to obtain but is still around. Try searching online. Well know sites stock the first two items. More hit and miss with the SN.

We are all here to talk to if you need to. This is a pro choice site and whatever you decide you will find people on here are very understanding.

Thanks for the info, that's really useful - Primperan and Tagamet in particular, they hadn't come up in my searches/I'd overlooked them accidentally.

Thank you for offering to talk, that's kind of you. To be honest, I've tried talking about it (to friends and professionals) but it only makes me feel temporarily better until I realise that absolutely nothing has changed and nothing will ever change, so it just puts me off confiding again, as I simply don't see the point and it makes me feel worse in the long-run.
No magic wand seems to exist except for the one that ends in CTB.
I hope that this doesn't come across as ungrateful - thank you for your support, honestly - it just isn't what I need. What I really need is the struggle to be over, because I'm exhausted.

UPDATE: Just found some SN on a well-known auction/buying website. I'll continue to find other items and update this thread with my progress. (Not that anyone actually cares what I'm doing, I'm no one special on this forum, but it might help others with their search/understanding or if they have similar concerns/questions.)

Since this place is being watched, you may want to remove the information referring specifically to the acquired item. It could have the opposite effect and make it more difficult for others to get their hands on.

I hadn't thought of that, apologies. I've removed that section so no specific reference is made. Thanks for the heads up.
