I've been on a ketogenic diet, gravitating towards carnivore diet, for about 6 months. It did wonders at alleviating my chronic inflamation, which was the main reason I went on this diet. But in the process I found there are other positive apects to it. My embarassing tremor has subsided significantly, my brain fog subsided too and I'm a lot more focused and able to reatain my concentration for longer and, the most surprising and welcoming effect, I am able to sleep again, after 10 years of pretty severe insomnia.
It's a difficult diet. I had to give up on all my favorite food. The most annoying part was constantly chasing my electrolytes, otherwise I would frequently get cramps. Luckily, I found a simple workaround for that - incorporate honey into the diet. It's the most carnivore source of carbohydrates, since it's animal made, and is much more easily digested than regular sugar, since bees add enzymes to the nectar and the sugar is already partially broken down. So if I eat honey in the evening, I'm already back in ketosis by the next morning, without all the cramping bussines.
Mind you, I'm not preaching nor suggesting to anybody they should get on board, but I found it suits me very well.
