I've had boomers tell me to ''pick myself up by the bootstraps'' since time immemorial, but despite having finally found a pair of boots that have actual bootstraps, and using them, neither my health nor the economy seems to have improoved ? All it did is make the boots easier to put on than by just shoving my foot in ? In fact, said boomers seem to be mildly terrified at the sight of me wearing the boots, are calf height military leather ones not the way to go ?
