Depression Juice

Alcohol is a depressant. My mom called it her "depression juice". She drank herself to death. She died in bed, but alcohol was the real cause of death.

How many here have a base problem of a drug addiction but it's barely talked about that it's the real problem? My friend Jerry died of a "heart attack" at 53 but c'mon, just look at him.

No base problem here for me. I don't drink, nor do I take drugs. I'm depressed because of my life's circumstances. Life has brought me to where I am.

They did some sort of study back in the '50s or 60s I think that showed that LSD was a miracle drug for treating alcoholism. Sorry about your mom.

Same as above, I haven't been here for a while and know I get can good at things (eg; a job) or my hobbies. But alcohol has caused most of the problems than, other than the other 5 drugs I take daily (for an average 8 years).

The health system won't/can't help. Family doesn't have the energy for it and I get it. My dad (who I live with) is also pretty much never smoked a day in his life, also has his own alcohol issues, he embraces death. He's probably semi autistic or on the spectrum though, he's never got it checked coz men don't generally..They have their own problems and things to do in life that I don't. They help and support but now when I want to make a choice. Apologies for ranting, but alcohol is the one of the worst drugs even according to child abuse specialists (source I had one lesson at 13)

Life is truly misery, you can just make it better (slightly), but its always a minus game. Even biologically speaking so, dog eat dog, but some have a nice favorite seat on the sofa

oh, also, mushrooms, ketamine, lsd and multiple analogues have helped me, yet I can drink 9 liters of cider a night on scripted drugs no probs
