I live in Europe and there's an intercity train that I thought about using to get decapitated. I have to lay with my neck on the train tracks before the train comes and the wheels should decapitate me leading to a very fast death, it should be almost an instant death or if not instant at least death should come in a few seconds. I know people killed themselves with this method before, it's especially a popular method in India and probably other asian countries, I saw people kill themselves like this on watchpeopledie but from freight trains, but I don't know about intercity trains. From what I've seen about the intercity train, there should be enough space for my head to fit under it and the wheels to decapitate me. It travels at speeds of over 100 km/hour. I don't know for sure if the speed is fine or if it's a problem, if that amount of speed will somehow push me away a bit from the tracks. I'm afraid of failing and surviving in a much worse condition and also I'm afraid of a really painful death. If it leads to decapitation then it should be perfect, I just don't know for sure what would happen. I'm not here to talk about morality and whether or not it might traumatize the driver or other people, the truth is the majority of people don't care about others, that's how this world is. Even if some might get a bit affected by someone commiting suicide, they'll eventually move on, continue with their lives. Plus from what I saw the bodies of people who got decapitated by trains don't look that bad, they look mostly intact, they just don't have their necks anymore and there's blood around the area where the neck was, but there are other more brutal methods where the bodies look much worse. I want to talk about the method, if an intercity train is fine for this method, if the speed is fine or not and see what opinions others have about how the method should be done

It would be my prefered method as well because there are no high buildings in my city and I cannot gain access to firearms. Also, overdosing is too risky for me. It is kinda gory and brutal but....who cares, right?

If it's a decapitation then it's not too gory and brutal, decapitated bodies don't look that bad, if the train hits other parts of your body and causes more damage then yeah it's more brutal. What type of train did you think about using, intercity train, freight train or other types? Also how fast does it go?

Would you be able to view the type of loco used on this service prior to any attempt? If you were able to get a look at it stationary at a station it might be easier to assess whether or not there appear to be any projections or parts of the bodywork or mechanism which would be likely to cause the impact to be a more glancing one.

You mean if there are objects in front of the wheels that could hit me and do more damage before the wheels decapitate me? From what I saw there's a thing in front of the wheels that's a bit lower and closer to the ground than the front of the train but it doesn't seem to be low enough to hit my head, so I should probably fit under it. There seems to be enough space under the front of the train for my head, that shouldn't be a problem, the obstacle might be that thing I mentioned but I should fit under it as well. Other than that there doesn't seem to be other obstacles

Those trains have plates that will push you side.

But screw that. No way!.

I didn't see any plate that could push me aside at the intercity train, there's enough space in front of the train for my head to fit under it, there's just a thing in front of the wheels that's a bit closer to the ground but it doesn't seem low enough to hit my head, that's why I think I should fit under it as well

I considered this at one time. I noticed a plate that's only a few inches from the rail where I was is why I say that. Very few trains had an 8 inch or more gap I estimated.

Personally, if I were going to do this method, I wouldn't even mess around with a moving train. I'd find one stopped somewhere, away from stations, like in the countryside, probably at night. I'd just put my neck on the track up against a wheel and wait on the train to start moving. I don't think speed is a factor. The weight alone is enough to crush your neck, and even if it doesn't decapitate you, there's no way you're surviving this kind of injury.

But wouldn't the driver of the train and maybe other people as well see you laying down on the tracks? If they see you then it might not work. If it's night you might need a flash light to see where you're going and to lay on the tracks. It's not certain the driver won't see you. Also I don't know how you would find a train at night stopped away from stations, it might not be easy to find it

Trains go really damn fast and it takes a while for them to slow down which is why this method works so well as they can't just slam the brakes like a bus.

Which method are you saying it works, laying on the tracks before the train comes so while it's moving at high speed or laying on the tracks when the train is stopped somewhere?

tbh I'm not sure actually. I assume the former when it's moving really fast because I'm having trouble picturing the latter.

there's a very recent article from my country where a woman survived and lost her leg to a suicide by train attempt.
when i saw the title, i thought it would be about that.
if you are fully decided on ending it, (i hope you can fix it tho), then make sure oyu don't end up even worse... like that girl.
she's very open about it too, posts pics all the time of her prostethic leg and stuff.
smiling... but i doubt she's truly happy. i could be wrong tho

In the dark? Way at end of the train far from the engine? I'm in US and there are freight trains all around me who stop for various reasons in secluded areas. There's moonlight in the dark. You could certainly see enough.

It depends on how she did the method, in this post I was talking about decapitation from train by laying with your neck on the train tracks. I don't know how she attempted to do the method, there are different ways of doing the train method, some lay with just their necks, some with their bodies, some jump in front of the train. It also depends on the type of train she used
