• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

To me any kind of toxic positivity is certainly insensitive and is centred around delusional beliefs about the harsh reality of existing here, it's insane to say that existing "gets better" in this harmful world that is filled with endless risks and potential for the most extreme suffering.

In fact the reality is that existing will just get worse as we are destined for nothing but to decay from age and suffer a great deal in the process, the thought of reaching a much older age disturbs me, existing could never be a desirable state in the first place, I see nothing appealing about enduring something so pointless as existing, to exist means to suffer so unnecessarily.

"You survived your attempt because you didn't really want to die". That one infuriated me and my father has told me that after every attempt and still tells me it to this day, when he thinks I'm in recovery. It feels so invalidating to me, but I never tell that to him because I don't want to hurt his feelings.

I'm sorry to hear that, that really sucks! I know it's hard, but you should try to let him know. If u can.

no one is obliged to live if there's no will for that. imagine if you tried some video game which in your opinion is boring and sucks exceptionally bad and you are being forced to complete it no matter how shitty it is. many people would say "BUT WHAT ABOUT PEOPLE AROUND YOU, YOUR FAMILY, YOUR FRIENDS" well we all are going to die anyway, some of us sooner than others. either you'll go through that feeling or your close ones will outlive you somehow. people die eventually and that's normal. one who wants to kill thyself might have some severe mental conditions which can likely mean eternal suffering for them. hence delivering the question: why suffer so long to die naturally in the end? why not to just quit earlier?
