• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I often wonder what families do with the money/assets they receive from a relative or loved one who ctb'd. Do they spend the money often? Do they hold it up and never use it? Do they feel guilty for using the money? I would think that there's probably a sense of guilt and attachment to it because of the circumstances of them obtaining it but who knows?

It's just like inheritance, at least most middle class people will use money. There is not much difference, not memories associated with money.
Maybe in some rare instances when money is very strong associated with the one gone, then it might be stored a s a memorabilia, but generally I'd say money is used.

When my grandmother passed away, the money allowed me to live without worries, and stress and fear... at least for awhile( $$$ goes so fast). No escaping our economy, though. Its one of the reasons I get thoughts of ending it.
