What are jellie babies? Is that some kind of slang for a street level drug? Like Black Beauties, Kit Kat, Triple C, or Chicken Feed.
Jelly Babies are a type of soft sugar jelly sweets in the shape of plump babies, sold in a variety of colours. They were first manufactured in Lancashire, England, in the nineteenth century.[1] Their popularity waned before being revived by Bassett's of Sheffield in Yorkshire, who began mass-producing Jelly Babies (initially sold as "Peace Babies") in 1918.[1]

Oh, they're British. No wonder I didn't know what they were. Thanks for the info.

Good to see you. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Honestly, the way it sounded, it seemed like some kind of street-level narcotic or something to me. I mean talking about being able to kill yourself with them, who would have thunk we were talking about actual jelly beans. And in the shape of babies? I just didn't make the connection, I guess, not being British and all. Heck, I didn't even know licorice could kill you, as far fetched as it seems. Learn something new everyday, I guess.

It's the glycyrrhizic acid that causes issues, jelly beans also contain it.

I hate liquorice but like jelly beans!
ב''ה,
Yeah, if somehow attempting this it's the all natural, not deglycyrrhizinated kind, and maybe if male you grow breasts from it first, as a heads up.

Health food and supplement places generally have full spectrum non "DGL" extracts around or maybe they don't because this keeps happening. At least the candy tastes good.

I have no idea if the "salty" (check the chemistry) Scandinavian stuff adds any further risk but did have a reputation for being more commonly natural decades ago and occasionally causing an incident in an excessive fan.

Knew you'd like it sweetheart. I think it's definitely got 'method' potential. 😊

I wonder how many SS Members will be casually wandering around the sweet isle of their local supermarket trying to not look suspicious while reading the back of BL packets? 🤔

What the hell is a jelly baby

Oh, I see, it's like Haribo with sugar/salt on top or is it starch on them? Regardless, those will give you unbearable cavities and stomach aches.

They don't want you to know this, but chugging a can of Monster after eating twenty bags of pop rocks within an hour creates a similar effect to detonating a grenade in your stomach.

For all non British members, these are the much coveted and sought after "Final Exit" sugary capsules.
Please, no plaintive begging posts enquiring where desperate seekers of Death by Diabetes may source such desireable condiments.
It's like Fight Club ... the first rule is that we don't talk about that.

It's also the second rule!
Didn't want to get into repetition ... I'm a wee tad OCD and can tend to say everything twice, know what I mean, know what I mean ?

As you can see from my post, I'm considering a suicide attempt tonight with Jelly Babies. I know it's a relatively new method, just over a year old, but has anyone tried it in the meantime? Is it painful? What's the protocol? What dose of Jelly Babies is considered optimal? Has PPH included this method in the latest edition of their book? What's the availability of Jelly Babies—do I also have to import them from a Polish source, and will customs officials confiscate them?

Thank you so much for your help and response!

Unrelated to CTB with these...... every time I see Jelly Babies mentioned I think of a friend who always referred to them as "Gelatin Children"

Hear me out: What if we somehow managed to recreate the "suicide pills", got a whole bunch of white jellybeans, mixed them, and just down that shit?

It is indeed true... "While generally safe in moderation, consuming excessive amounts of black licorice, especially over a prolonged period, can be dangerous, potentially leading to dangerously low potassium levels, high blood pressure, and even cardiac arrest"

I think that one maybe has some potential?
