Is it possible for deadly nightshade berries to kill you?

I know yew tree berries can kill you but I seem to remember reading that the death would be very unpleasant.

There are plenty of plants that can kill you, just that they are a slow and lingering death for a lot of them

My friend once ate nightshade seeds for a recreational high. He was delusional and had hallucinations he couldnt discern from reality for 3 days. On the second day he ended up in the ICU for respiratory failure. Fortunately for him, he survived. Long story short it would be a terrifying death

Oh wow that sounds awful! I had no idea you could eat the seeds for a high. Definitely won't be trying that anytime soon.

Not actually something I've really thought about before, poisoning myself "naturally " lol, but as someone else said I would imagine it to be drawn out and quite painful or uncomfortable. I wonder would sleeping pills added to the mix do anything, but I really don't know anything about wild berries so I'm no help there!!
