CTB as vengeance toward self

Anyone else feel this way? It is somewhat of an oxymoron: While death is the ultimate freedom, I also feel that I should suffer when going out... punishment before death. I haven't self harmed in years (strangling, mild cutting), but the urge is strong today. Maybe I will finally succeed tonight.

I feel the exact same way,l hate myself soo much I believe I deserve a slow and terrible death,like sllitting my own throat,or setting myself on fire.im a piece of shit who had a piece of shit life and feel like all the wrong ive ever done justifies me to die a horrible death and be forgotten
