A bit heavy, but the arrival of February has had me thinking today of how I'll probably never be in love again (especially not to the same intensity; my schizoid traits recently intensified), and it's just a disappointing reality to face. I don't mean having a relationship-- I can do that extremely easily-- I mean actually experiencing thoughtful, emotional love for another.
I remember when I still had that emotion. I was permanently happy; my body was healthy and in peak shape; I had discipline and resolve to accomplish anything; I could give myself instant shocks of joy and pleasure just from thinking about my lover, no touch or interaction was even required.
LIfe now feels quite colorless in comparison. I will continue painting it in with my dark and grimy colors though. They make for interesting texture.
Edit: Oh, hey! On a lighter note, I just noticed I have bananas! Sweet. I'm going to eat all of them.Last edited:
