I almost passed out at the clinic and I covered my face mask in mucus, saliva and phlegm, but I got my notice of medical leave. I wish I could keep this illness forever, so that I'm just absolved from all duties due to being a literal biohazard.

Anyway, the dream...

I was in a huge cavern of some sort, judging by the stone ceiling, and the floor was made of red, muscular flesh; there were giant cysts and pimples pulsating everywhere, and "veins" that acted as rivers of blood. The blood was yellow. Giant hair follicles acted as trees, with the strands being 'leaves'.
Somehow, there was an actual town in this place; an abandoned, ruined town. I was sat in the heart of it, along with 3 other people. I was dressed like some kind of hunter or outlaw, with clothes made of blackened leathers, thick gloves and a wide-brimmed hat. There was a freakishly tall guy in a robe next to me, with no visible arms or legs, wearing a red bird mask. There was also an extremely bloated and decomposed woman who somehow was still alive; her body had been turned into a nest for wasps and larvae, and although they ate her eyes out, she could still see things and speak. Finally, there was a little girl with freakishly long nails wearing a dress covered in dried blood, dirt and piss stains; despite her filthy attire, her skin was perfectly unblemished and smooth.
While we sit there gathering our energy and eating food, I notice that there's a gun next to me, made of silver and dead wood. I get an idea and I tell the rest of the guys to follow me, which they do, after some arguing. We go onto the roof of a house, and I start taking potshots at random corpses and giant cysts; they exploded into gas and blood every time I landed a shot, which I thought was fucking awesome. I offer my gun to them and tell them to take a few shots too, but bird mask guy starts analyzing the gun instead of using it. Meanwhile, I sit back down and drink out of a canteen, since I felt really thirsty. I woke up soon afterwards, and I realized that I'm ACTUALLY thirsty.

Weird ass dream, and... Ew.

I am reminiscing on past experiences and discussing technofeudalism with a friend, while I am listening to phonk music and reading two biographies on Aleister Crowley, since martyrdom made me curious to know more about his personal life. I have also started to somewhat recover from my illness, I think, but I'll be staying at home for the rest of the week regardless, as per the doctor's orders.

In other words: Doing very good at the moment.
