Why are people who claim to be desperate to learn what happens after we die so reluctant to give observing corpses for an extended period of time a try? @Weebster
Nice rhyme. Why are people who claim to be desperate to learn what happens after we die so reluctant to give observing corpses for an extended period of time a try? @Weebster
Only if you're an M.E. or funeral director…Is observing corpses a readily-available opportunity?
Good point. It's completely unavailable in a first-world country like my native Canada, and extremely perilous even when available in my adopted country India. Is observing corpses a readily-available opportunity?
Who are "these people" who are reluctant to view corpses?
If a person really wanted to do this, any time there was a funeral, they could put on their nicest clothing and go pay their respects. There might not be an opportunity for unlimited viewing, but at many funerals they could spend at least some amount of time with the departed. [Tip: arrive very early.] OF COURSE one would want to be kind to and say nice things to the grieving family members. Reading the obituary ahead of time might help them figure out some nice things to say to the family and close friends.
