I need help coming to terms with death. I want to die but for some reason I hold back, I really just need to leave this world but I am scared. I need any of you to help me get over my weird fear and help me let go once and for all. Thank you.

It's certainly not a weird fear. It's completely understandable. Journal what your fear about it and then find reasons not to fear those things and journal them too
so true!! The fundamental truth you just mentioned really hit home for me when the years of therapy, medication, holistic approaches and prayer haven't relieved the issue. Others say just have hope or faith and things will work out. Im defiantly more fortunate than others with more severe mental health conditions such as low functioning autism. I saw documentary of a mental health hospital where a teenager was severely autistic and had to be strapped to a bed 20 hours a day due to self harm and the remaining hours he was escorted by others and had to walk so his muscles didn't rot. It goes to show we currently have mental health conditions that go way beyond our sources of treatment. If treatments aren't showing considerable improvement over a period of time than we should be able to pull the plug in our own right
I don't want to end my life but the options to resolve my mental issue haven't shown signs of remission. So I'm solving my issue with a new option next month….

it can be very difficult, but you need to identify your reasons - much clearer than that: try to think what's holding you back, for example:
- your life or your circumstances might get better for you?
- you are sure you want to end your suffering, but you are afraid of an afterlife?
- what exactly are you scared of?
no one will be able to identify your reasons better than you
also, you shouldn't be convinced to live or die by anyone else - this is your decision, and it can't get more personal than this: consider your options carefully, and after you understand your problems it might be easier to make rational decisions that are more comfortable for you:
If I had an hour to solve a problem, I would spend 55 minutes defining it, and then 5 minutes solving it -Albert Einstein
I believe you will be ready when you admit that your body has become your worst enemy, for physical, mental or any other reasons. Then you'll feel the necessity of destroying it, with no fear involved.

The reality is that nobody should ever fear death as we are simply all destined to die. Death is completely inescapable and in comparison to the eternity of nothingness existence is something that is so incredibly meaningless and insignficant. We only exist just to die and be forgotten about, and it's just the way that life is. But after all, there is nothing really to come to terms with as once we leave this world we simply cease to exist with not even the awareness of the fact that we are dead.
To me this is perfection and is something so beautiful. The non existent cannot suffer, they have no worries and concerns and are finally free from this hellish world. Existence is a curse and a burden and in comparison there are no disadvantages to being dead. Existing is centred around endless problems and to die solves every one of them. I find the thought of non existence to be something so incredibly comforting and it's all that I've ever wished for. The only thing that I fear is existing in this world.
Most people fear death, which is weird considering we all die eventually. For me, just the idea of non-existence puts me at ease, because then I cannot suffer. You need to find what puts you at ease, because it's different for everyone.

Aside from SI, overcoming fear of death is about your willingness to let go of everything. I feel like you got to be willing to let go of family, friends, yourself, anything you've worked for. Overcoming fear of death is accepting death for what it is. Also accepting the fear of the unknown or not knowing what happens after death. living and surviving is all we've ever known and our brains will most definitely remind us of that if we try to take those things away.
