Comfort YouTube Channels

Does anyone else have YouTube channels they constantly go back to when in need of something easy to watch/have on in the background?

For me it's definitely Novympia. I can't say I've been in the highest of moods recently (I swear I'm a constant downer in this forum... but then this is a suicide forum so I guess very few of us are happy go lucky lol), but Novympia always get a bit of a giggle out of me. The kind of videos I can watch on loop and not get bored, too!

Any recommendations for other channels you go to when you need a laugh?

oneyplays for me! ive been watching them for years so they've kept me going for a while, especially their windwaker video. windwaker was my comfort game when i was younger and i have trouble sleeping at night so it was common for me to play it in the background.

other than that video essays on my favorite medias cheer me up and help calm me down.

Just had a quick peek - love it! My PhD is in Chinese culture, so it's perfect! (Not that I'll ever finish the PhD lol, but the point still stands)

oneyplays for me! ive been watching them for years so they've kept me going for a while, especially their windwaker video. windwaker was my comfort game when i was younger and i have trouble sleeping at night so it was common for me to play it in the background.

I found Oneyplays a year or so back, definitely been getting a lot of use out of their channel recently!

I'm a plant lover so I usually watch any new Wildfern videos that come out. She's a Canadian as well so it's nice to follow someone the same nationality as me. I also enjoy Sydneyplantguy in Australia and Thejunglehaven in the UK.

For funnies, my partner and I always watch Theaxeman, Syntac and Neebsgaming for playthroughs on video games. All 3 are hilarious (especially neebs). They primarily focus on Ark which is our game we always play.

Random, but I also love Sharkbytes. He's a shark scientist in the UK and has some great videos. I love sharks

Also watch a ton of true crime, so 10tolife, Crimeweekly, Kendallrae and Lightsoutpodcast are my go tos.

And mindless, raunchy hilarity is always Santagatostudios and Thebasementyard. Love those guys.

One of my favorites is "Astronomiaweb". I love videos about the universe; they calm me down and fascinate me. The cosmos is so majestic and incredible.

I have a lot of those but the one that comes to mind now is Fredrik Knudsen. He does long video essays on obscure things.

I watch The Dodo and other cute animal videos. Weave the coyote is my current favorite.
