I have heard that beta blockers and a sedative help ease the palpitations and possible panic when using SN. I have metoprolol and xanax. I am lacking an antiemtik, but hope that the "pink stuff" should be enough. Would that combination with SN be appropriate? Also, what is the time frame from consuming SN to CTB final? Getting a hotel room will immediately show up on a credit card notice and paying cash is viewed as suspect. We have deep woods with trails that are never used at night. There are small pockets of clearings which can be accessed, so venturing back there after dark would mean that discovery wouldn't be before dawn. Is that a decent time frame?

I'm not sure how long it takes if you take SN , but as you mentioned Xanax (but you need a high dose like 100+mg) and metoprolol should also help.
But if I were you I would switch the Xanax to a longer working benzodiazepine like 500mg valium or preferably 1gram. And the metoprolol at least one box (30x times the normal dose)
I would take valium and metoprolol at the same time and 30-40 minutes later the SN. Better said as soon as you notice any effects.

Do your homework and I would choose a spot where you have at least 20+ hours.

Take care!

Metoprolol is an appropriate anti-emetic.

IMO, betablockers are very good for SN. But I think you should avoid benzodiazepines with a high sedative/hypnotic effect. There is a risk of lethargy and perhaps fast sleep/coma. You need to be awake and calm as much as possible, to absorb the sn well and then sleep.

I would start using the beta blocker at least two days early. I think a week earlier would be better. In recommended dose.

20 plus hours for what? Incase you happen to fall asleep and wake back up?
What's this?

Like 20min to faint and then few hours
Most people die in under an hour.
Also OP according to the latest update of the PPEH beta blockers aren't even recommended anymore.c

i recommended you have at least a day where you are private and no one finds you to call emergency and save you.
Most people are going to die in under an hour with Sodium Nitrite.

I will be at least having a 16-hour window.
