I'd prefer to communicate about it on the forum, not PM. It's not the easiest method, it's not going to benefit others if it's in a PM.

It's a little (okay, a lot) confusing why you posted the thread but you're not going to write the questions here until tomorrow....

Its ok ill do it now i did not think sorry. Listed below are my questions.
1) I have chosen the Malawi 2 man pop up tent with sewn in groundsheet, will this tent be ok.
2) Will black bags and duct tape to tape up the air vents from inside and around the door, be sufficient and suitable.
3) How long do i wait before emptying the charcoal from the chimney starter into my bbq bucket, and then bringing the bucket inside the tent with me.
4) How do i stop my friends and family from trying to stop me as i am definitely so committed to doing this in the summer.

3) Others may need to confirm this, but what I understand from the CO thread is that the coals should be ash gray and cooled, no longer hot. From start (lighting them) to finish it will likely take a couple of hours. They should not be smoking at all.

4) They can't stop you if they don't know.

3} Already answered before in previous threads. Please check the resource page for that info.
4) I can't answer that question because i have no idea about your friends and family's interaction with you.. or living situation. Maybe kill them before hand?

The CO megathread is in the Resources Compilation sticky.

You can also use the site search for Malawi, duct tape, etc.

I'm looking for methods as I've tried various ways and I just need an easy method

A good place to start is the Resources Compilation sticky thread, which a list of methods as well as a link to the PPH, which also has methods.

How do I get on that thread I'm new to this

It's at the top of the main feed in the Suicide Discussion forum, under the Rules and FAQ.

@GoodPersonEffed I think you might be mistaken. As long as there are no flames and no smoke emanating from the charcoal, you should be able to take it inside. If the charcoal is cool then it's no longer burning and not giving off co.

It should be about 15 minutes in, I doubt several hours.

It's true that the coal needs to be ash color on the outside. I need to do some testing myself on this method. I actually considered buying a co meter costing 600$ to test the ppm of co in the air.

So again, a few hours, I doubt it. Most likely until the smoke and flames clear. You should see the red embers just below the white ask surface of the coal.

From pending hours sorting through the CO megathread, watching a video of how the chimney starter works, and the guy on the megathread who tried a couple times with a tent (and ostensibly succeeded the second time), I disagree. It's a slow method that requires patience, up to two hours. Otherwise good end up with smoke inhalation problems rather than the desired CO inhalation. Also from reading the thread, coals give off more CO when cooled, for up to, if I recall correctly, 3-4 hours. That's why it's dangerous to bring a cooled-off barbecue into a tent.

Edit: I'm also comfortable that we disagree. The CO megathread is a mess. There is not a plan to follow like SN that has been researched and tested. I can't even find the posts of the guy I was talking about, so I don't want anyone to take my word for it. I've done enough research that I'm confident enough for how I specifically intend to do it. It may work, it may not.

I'll need to re-read. The best way is to experiment with a co meter in a controlled environment.

From the barbecuing that I've done in the past, I recall that the coals give off smoke for the first 20 minutes then the coals stay hot in the inside and turn white on outside.

See the video below. You can see the red embers of the coal. However, there are no flames and no smoke. I think this is the time the coals need to be taken inside. Your thoughts?

@HadEnough1974, based on what I've read, I would either wait until they weren't glowing, or at that point put them in a bucket with a container of water under the bucket. Actually, I would wait until they were completely coated in white either way.

I would put generator in the tent and after 15-20min go inside( I don't know the size of your tent but I assume it's like 2-3 square meter) The ppm would be maybe 13000ppm or higher. I would keep it that long because lots of air could escape when going inside holding breath. Or I would go near the generator and breath the exhaust air which by articles have 80000ppm in it. If one did it outside (breathed the exhaust air face next to it) or garage with some tools next to it, it would be seen as accident. By news it's said people died by accident when plugging it. And I would attach my phone charger to it too and have my phone, tablet etc. with me.

I have only heard one guy getting 10000ppm with coals. He had 4kg coals in a car which was 2 square meters inside (pickup with 2 seats). Coals aren't as reliable way to get high readings and can set the tent on fire.

Anyways I am very sad for you because I know what the greatest suffering and injustice feels like. I wish you would get to experience good things in life and didn't have to leave the world yet. Sometimes we have a change for happiness, sometimes we dont. I am with the last ones myself so I understand everyone leaving early. I wish I had a change to know you in person. Best ones always leave this world early.

I can honestly say that the CO method is very peaceful if the concentration is high enough. Every single news article says the same. No signs of struggle or notice of any danger. People die sleeping next to family members or sitting in car with them. High ppm of CO gives instant euphoria and makes people very tired so they fall in sleep before being knocked out. But 10000ppm and higher makes people unconscious instantly.

But this method is not for anyone who may have second thoughts about it. I have suffered bad memory problems after accidentally being few min in high concentration of CO (at least 3000ppm). I don't remember the time I felt that happy before. I felt I didn't get enough air but didn't mind it. I felt so good and peacefull and very tired. I would had felt in sleep in the space and passed if I had been little longer there. I was so tired.
I didn't go to hospital. Next month's taking big breaths would hurt my lungs but I didn't take them. I think I got bad memory problems from it. If I consentrate well I can remember things and important meetings. But I loose my keys and phone like every day, forget to pay bills, loose my bank account info to pay them, can't remember my phone number etc. I can't imagine what it would be after longer/higher exposure. I had bad headaches or migraine every day and I ate opiates daily for pain so I could not tell if it gave headaches. I think it will give them at some decree.

So my personal opinion is to think hard before and try every other way to stop the constant suffering. Maybe even let some days, weeks months pass to see if things would change. If some miracle would happen. And then if one is 100% sure about it then the plan should be the same.
I personally really hope people think hard before leaving this world (for the family and loved ones) and having the info don't make more unthought exits though I think people who do it will do it one way or the other. People should have some legal, free/cheap euthanasia way.

I don't want God to tell me that I was supposed to help out somebody to live and not share a easy way out. Though I have no strength in me left to do that and I can't be helped myself either.

Sorry for sharing too much besides the subject. People can left it out when reading. Anyways I will send all the love for all of you and I will soon ask God to help you all when I see him. Or maybe I will be nothingness again. :)
