How do I register as charity that means something to you aha? Nah but all jokes aside I commend you friend. I'm more of a distribute to those you know who are less fortunate rather than line the pockets of charities who will skim revenue for themselves type of person. But I'm sure there are many that genuinely do good for the sake of good.
Theres a charity that uses 100% of donations towards MH reasearch. Well known and run buy rich folks so they dont need to abuse the donations for operations like the Red Cross does. Tax returns are posted online.

Even if you dont donate to this one always research charities to ensure their taxes are posted. Those tend to be the most reputable charities with great reviews.
Having worked with people in the special education field, that's always my recommendation. There are a lot of adults, kids, and parents of severely disabled kids that are really struggling out there.

Pick the most decent member of SS community and ask him/her if he/she is willing to take your money. It will save your time and your money will go to a good man/woman. Maybe someone who helped you to decide which method to choose. Or someone who supported you unconditionally. Don't give it to charity that supports poor people who will decide to reproduce because of that money support, thus creating more misery in the world.
Actually, I believe SS takes donations as well, so...
Give it to a right to die association. Even better if you find one supporting the right to die for individuals with mental disorders.

Depending how you go and where, it turns out cleaning up after someone dying is very expensive. I think closer to $5k if it's something like a gun shot to the head. You could put the money towards that so it doesn't come out of anybodies pocket, and then have the rest go to some random one you pick.

Pretend you don't know what the money is for. Technically, yes, it would be a crime as you are assisting, legally difficult to prove as you only give money and not the means.

I've thought about donating it to a charity for transgender youth or something.
...I've also thought about burying it in the woods somewhere, and obfuscating the coordinates with some bizarre cypher or riddle, and mass-sending the riddle to everyone in my university so they could find where it's buried. That would be more fun, and memorable for everyone.

Give it to the charity that does research for the disease I'm killing myself due to. It's called complex regional pain syndrome. There have been so many susicides this year because of this condition that there is no awareness about and no money for research. But it's up to you. Do what you feel is best and it's a beautiful gesture.

I would say some sort of animal charity maybe even your local animal shelter. I'm an animal lover so that's just what i'd do :)
