Was always a dog lover first, but after having some amazing cats, I'm definitely a cat person now. I do own a cat and 2 dogs though.

For me I prefer dogs cus of their more needy and affectionate behaviour. I also find them more cute in their appearance and mannerisms. I often like to pretend to be animals and I am more likely to pretend to be a dog than a cat. Cats are still cute and good in their own way.

I'm more of a dog person despite having to clean up dog poop.

I had a dog that was a mutt and gotten from the dog pound, had her for 13 years before she died in her sleep 2 years ago. She was the most loving, loyal, and protective dog I ever had. She knew when I was having a bad day, and would always snuggle up next to me to comfort me.

There are times now I wish she was still with me on those down days. Damn, I miss her.

Sorry Pluto, has to be dogs for me. Grew up with cats but after they died of old age I developed a minor allergy to them which is really annoying (will stuff tissue up my nose and sit there eyes and nose streaming while cuddling a cat). But also for me I just feel like dogs are much more expressive and loyal/I can read them. I have also volunteered with/seen search dogs in action and its next level stuff.
