what if you rip that mask off your face unconsciously?

Diazepam, clonazepam or PHENObarbital all are used to prevent epileptic fits/spasms.
Might be worth duct taping the mask in place wrapping the tape round the back of your head a few times.
Yeah, because if you're even a little bit coherent, you're survival instinct will kick in. You'll be trying to get that mask off trying to get air.

Ordered it yesterday after my test. Literally just arrived. I actually find it crazy how easy it has been to source stuff. Especially the sulphuric as it's supposed to be regulated but I had no problems ordering it online.
I wanted to try this method when in the us, when i still had a car. i was unable to obtain either of the ingredients here. you are lucky!

i felt something similar when i made the decision to go. there's some relief in no longer carrying the burden of hope.

I feel less comfortable with this method (as compared to charcoal -- which is my preferred way to go). It also seems difficult to get the stuff without ordering online (which i don't feel comfortable with). I think i am just uneasy with acids in general (don't really know why). It's a shame because this looks like a more certain way to get to more than 10k ppm.

i feel like i would prefer CO as well, but would need stronger drugs to knock me out than last time

Made the mistake of sending a goodbye message to a friend. Ended up with several friends at my door, and a couple police officers. They took my glass jar, the oxygen mask and the potassium hydroxide. I still have the acids. All I wanted to do was say goodbye to my best friend. They arrived much sooner than i expected.

Damn that sucks dude. Did you send the message right before trying to ctb? How fast did they arrive?

Yeah. The friend I message immediately messaged people that knew me. One guy was pretty close by. He ended up literally swimming through the river at the back of my house and climbing up my balcony when I didn't open the door. took a long time to get everyone out. I'm guessing the police took my glass jar and the KOH away with them. I still have the acids but now have people wanting to keep an eye on me. Fuck sake.

immediatly after the test i felt incredibly dizzy and weak but that evenutually went away. ive just had 12 hours sleep and the headache has gone. I'd definitely chose this meathod due to how rapily the effects happened.

That's good to know. I did some reading on the method in the peaceful pill handbook. From my situation, a lot of the material supplier to makea carbon monoxide seem extremely hard to get. But I'm also going to do some reading on on the inert gas and lethal salts methods.

Acidic taste huh? What does it taste like? I know it's pretty hard to describe taste but maybe comparing it to something else. It didn't sting or irritate?

so, today in the laboratory I reacted sodium carbonate and sulfuric acid and the release of CO2 brought sulfuric acid to my nose. It was very irritating, a very sour, pungent smell. I believe you can create a system with pet bottles and hoses that can pass the CO into a closed container with KOH or NaOH and then another hose to bring the gas to your mask

That's what I was wondering too. But apparently it doesn't. Not if you don't get in to direct contact with the acids, like swallowing it or getting on your skin.

basically sulfuric acid does not give you danger without physical contact with you or with metals. the vial of formic acid may explode, so either store it in the refrigerator or leave it inside a vial to prevent heating. physical contact with formic acid leads to serious wounds that are difficult to heal according to the technical file.

I not good at chemistry but are you referring to carbon monxide and carbon dioxide or both?

sorry, in my lab experience, i produced CO2, dioxide carbon. at other times I have mentioned a carbon monoxide (CO)

I've lost my KOH. Is there any other basic household substance that might help with reducing the acid in the gas? Something like a large amount of Bicarb? Would that help?

Fumes are concerning. Im planning to mix 500ml formic into 1L sulfuric in a car and wait 5 minutes then go in. Will the fumes make it painful? Also sourcing the acisd is easy, formic is on ebay and sulfuric is in drain cleaner, i used kleen out, i have also heard people use one shot, just make sure check their Material Safety Data Sheet to confirm it is a good source of sulfuric.

I would say NaOH (caustic soda), it sells in markets. however, I have just seen that CO reacts with this substance and is retained in the water, which will reduce the amount of gas produced. It returns to the formic acid form. I do not know if large amounts of gas escape intact from this stage of levage, to find out just by doing a test or researching more.

perhaps, baking soda can be used to neutralize the sulfuric acid that is extracted from the gas that retains less CO, but it is my speculation.
If the bicarbonate does not work, we can try to make a filter with materials like sand, cloths, napkins (not all materials together) something to retain acid, but I would put a washing step with pure water as well.

to use many containers with water is ideal, but I do not know if it would be enough to retain the sulfuric acid and some formic acid vapors that are carried. will cause pain.

oh, good news, it seems that CO only reacts with NaOH at 150 ° c and at 8 atm pressure, so it will not happen. you can use NaOH stones in a container with water or large amounts of bicarbonate in water.
NaOH is very corrosive to the eyes and skin as well as KOH but the bicarnate only to the eyes considerably.

im happy with this fact, was worried.

Hmmm.... Did I get it right that the fumes are simply tiny droplets of acid which escaped the reaction?

If so, you can put a vertical column - made of PVC pipe for example - on top of your reactor vessel - be it a bucket or big jar.
Stuff a piece of cotton in it. The gas will leak anyways because of the pressure. But the fumes will get filtered.
