If you're planning on rolling it you want to turn in the direction the drivers side is on for maximum force from the roll. Driver left side, steer left, driver right side, steer right. For an impact you want something solid obviously because you're basically trying to recreate what a fall does but on the other axis, travelling at speed and a sudden stop in movement. Hitting another vehicle is sort of unreliable even at speed is my guess, you would be surprised how much absorption of the impact is removed through malleable materials. That's before we consider seatbelt on or off. A relative chose this method into a solid stone wall on a rural road, not sure of any further specifics but it worked.

Thought about the idea but survival is too risky and you'll end up with both bone and organ damage.

Honestly I'm not entirely sure what that entails with my UK centric view of a highway. I hope I haven't sounding like a smart ass in telling you what you already know, I would want people to depart reliably with no suffering. If going off the highway provides a sudden stop to the entire car, then either your organs crashing into your bones or your head hitting something in the car will do the trick, all this with a seatbelt at the highest speed possible.

Yesterday as I drove from point A to B and back I was scoping out telephone poles and pondering everything that would go into making a successful impact. Good 2 hours of driving total. I was so deep in thought the ride felt like it passed quickly. Then I realized, with my luck, I'll be waking up to paramedics, police and the fire department rescuing me. And I'll probably be confined to a wheelchair or some shit for the remainder of my already miserable life. I like the thought of it but I don't feel like I'd accomplish it.

Engine exploding is very rare, how many times you heard that happened after an accident especially recent engines are built in a way that it won't explode after air bag is released or don't explode at all

Instead of hitting a tree which is unpredictable better hit a strong wall and make sure you don't wear a seatbelt, si will kick in better don't push your brake, don't go slow minimum 80 mph and if you can remove the airbags from your vehicle remove it!

I live near foothills and thought about diving off. It might be a little risky to do it on a highway or road since you may kill someone else other than yourself.

I have also thought about walking into traffic at the right moment.

No the city. Walking into traffic is less effective than the train method. I really don't feel like going far to the foothills, I want it to be over with now.

thanks. i was supposed to do it yesterday night, because of course when i got in that thing kept poking my brain again, like with all my other attempts.
i don't drink but i think that's what i have to do to beat it and die tonight.

Car is extremely hard. I would liken it to jumping but with a parachute option the whole way down. I did a few test laps with a few spots to see how it felt, keeping my eyes open was definitely not viable, and if I lined it up in anyway I would have to deal with the expectation even with eyes closed. Driving at high speed is one of the things that makes me feel happy which makes the method even more difficult on top of fears of how it all might go wrong.
