Venting Cannot stand pro-lifers who are incapable of minding their own business

It just proves that humans are the worst species when I hear that pro-life people have been trying to take away this site, it's very disgusting how they want to make other people suffer more as the reality is that if other people want to die then that's none of their business.

Like if they want to stay here then that's fine for them, nobody is forcing them to visit a site about suicide, if people don't want to die then they should just leave this site alone, those people can just go and enjoy life all they want if they value it so much but if someone else wants to die then that's their right, it's not yours to decide.

And if people have lost other people to suicide then I'm sorry but not everyone wants to exist here, you don't own other people, they aren't obligated to stay in this existence they were burdened with, trying to make existence into a prison where one cannot escape on their own terms is inhumane and criminal.

It's literally ridiculous when people complain about this site that they aren't even forced to visit, life glorifying people who worship suffering should just go and forget about the existence of this site, not everyone is as deluded as them and it's sad how people use their delusions about existence to try and harm other people by restricting suicide method information.

It's like they forget that we are all going to die anyway, do they really want to die slow, painful deaths from old age, I don't understand the wish to restrict peaceful suicide methods as they can end up in a situation of extreme suffering which would likely shatter their delusions.

And wanting suicide will always be logical as it's the way to prevent suffering in an existence that was completely unnecessary in the first place, in my case I just have awareness that existing is so futile and just leads to more suffering, allowing people the right to die in peace would be compassionate, it's so repulsive being against that.

You are very right. I don't understand why these pro-lifers attack this site when what happening is none of their business. They try to control everyone, force them to stay in this hellish world and face extreme cruelty from people every day. I wish people would realize that some people have no desire to stay here and leave this place as soon as possible, and understand their situation and let them do what they please. It couldn't be any simpler but the present society has been making it so hard.

Abortion is now legal in most Western countries. I cannot understand how that can be so, but suicide continues to be proscribed. One could even make an argument that the suicide is more morally justifiable than abortion, yet here we are.

Whether people like it or not, there will always be people who have simply had enough. It may be due to health reasons, it may be depression or it may be any number of things. Regardless, these people should have a dignified and peace means of exiting life. By all means, they should be given counselling and all the advice in the world to do otherwise, but the choice should be there.

All that will come of closing sites like this will be to force people like us into more desperate measures to find what we want. How many people have been mangled under a train who otherwise could have been offered a peaceful end?
