Stuck in a black hole...

Been fighting cancer all my life in my brain. There's a possibility I could now have kidney cancer. Anyone else with cancer ever thought of just like... not fighting it anymore? no more chemo meds, no more radiation. is it painful? I don't want the brain cancer because it gives me seizures and seizures kill your neurons over time. I don't want to die with what is akin to dementia. But kidney cancer might give me another out. I don't feel pain right now but docs said there might be something wrong and won't know till results get back. If it is cancer, would you let go?

I've thought for years that if I received a cancer diagnosis (grandparents died from different types on both sides of the family, plus I have a history of smoking and current obesity) I would decline treatment, keep it quiet, and go when it took me.

But everyone is different, all cancers are different and a prolonged, painful illness is a very different prospect to a quick suicide.

I cant even bear the joint and physical body pains I have at the moment , I think if i got cancer on top of it , it'd be goodbye Charlie for me. I have an abnormal fear of needles on top , so I think I'd end it before the cancer did. But that's just me personally
