Does seem like the ignore button could alleviate a lot of that undesirable tension. I don't really think there's going to be any profound breakthrough in the continuation of this conflict.

I totally agree, don't get me wrong i think anyone of an adult age should have the right to peaceful means if it can be shown that one is suffering, regardless of whether it is mental health, physical, or both. However there is a streak of extremism i note in her posts. Any disagreement even if polite, are struck down. You're right something is very, very off.

I feel very sorry for FC and the views she holds. It has to be extremely difficult to live in that manner. I can't even imagine what it's like to have the views she does. I, myself, am pretty bitter and down about my life situation, but I can at least still comprehend that what I feel is not necessarily what other's may feel. Some people have good lives and enjoy every minute of them. I don't begrudge anyone that. Good for them I say. I once asked FC if she could remember ANY childhood memory when times were better for her, when she could remember being at least a little happy with ANYTHING, and she said she couldn't. Not sure if I really believe that, but that's what she said. It's hard to imagine anyone not having at least one moment in their lives when there wasn't some happiness. I'm not so sure, i am not saying you're wrong by any means. I am deeply depressed and will hopefully be gone in the next 4-6 weeks, i often sound much better than i am. Yet i often feel extremely empty, but something does seem off with that account. I will just be glad to leave all the bullshit in my existence behind.

If you see content from that user that you believe stands against this site's core values or breaks a rule, you're always free to report that and we will take a look at it just the same way we take a look at other reports.

In regards to that user, we get a shit ton of reports from her "fans" that try to manipulate the mods into penalizing her opposition for simply disagreeing with her and come up with ridiculous misinterpretations of people's posts. We don't do that stupid shit here.

If you see something wrong, report it. If you see something annoying, use the ignore button. Simple as that.

Honestly, I don't always agree with FC. I do sometimes post my arguments on her posts but I've never been called a 'pro-life' troll or anything else. I've never been reported to a mod (as far as I know.) I think there is tolerance here to disagree- it's just HOW you do it.

I do sometimes agree with the sentiments of people who criticise her posts but I can understand that it seems offensive and like bullying when people call her a bot or start speculating about her situation and why she hasn't died yet. That IS offensive!

Yes- her views are very strong. Maybe even extreme and triggering to some folk. (I myself find it hard to see ALL death and ALL suicide being described as 'beautiful'.) Still- no one's saying you can't disagree. It's just being civil about it. Some threads REALLY trigger me- but- if I can't find a way to phrase a response in a way that I don't think I'm going to utterly insult the OP, I try and leave it alone. It just really saddens me that we're all turning on each other like this. We are a minority group in society as it is. We come from different backgrounds and hold different ideas. There's a particularly cruel example that I regularly think about, but it's old and I won't dredge up any old drama.
