Also how should you store sodium nitrite i have it in the package still but I am anxious that it will degenerate or turn into a different chemical

You can use tums as an antacid. (not an an antiemetic though).

Store in a cool dry place away from moisture. If the bottle is sealed it should be fine.

Tums can help with nausea but they're not as effective as anti-emetics.

I don't know your personal circumstances but people have used milk of magnesia as the antacid you are still going to need an antiemetic.
