A self inflected air embolism is entirely possible and there are documented cases that can be found on a simple Google search.

There are no real set particulars, as there are cases of an embolism proving fatal with as little as .5-1ml of air. There are also cases of survival with injections of over 100ml of air.

Just keep in mind the HIGH CHANCE of debilitating injury this can cause, as it runs the risk of becoming a self induced stroke, which can cause all sorts of permanent neurological and neurophysical side effects.

Pretty much what I was thinking..... It's certainly Possible to die from it,. But probable? Too many unknowns I believe as 1993 stated.

While I understand the mechanism of death from this method, I'm by no means confident nor a reliable source when it comes to suicide via. embolism..

All I can suggest is doing research online, and compiling facts on successful vs unsuccessful attempts.

Perhaps someone else on this forum is more versed in this method.

10 stories is a little low, would go as high as possible for that.

LOW?! I thought even 5 was enough wth
Not to discourage you, but unfortunately jumping is never a guaranteed success, regardless of height. People have survived 39 story falls (see below link), and a woman even survived an aircraft accident after falling from roughly 33,000 feet.

This sounds like a horrible way to die and is more likely to end in permanent damage and survival... Not something I would do.

when you got nothing to live for and everyday is pain/feels like hell you really start to don't give a shit anymore. I could just take a lots of anesthesics and jump. and i don't belive that permanent damage and survival things, either risk or live in this shit hole, i have nothing to lose.
just wanted to find out some info about the embolism method.
