I ordered 500g (wish I did multiple 100gs instead but oh well) and I don't want to take all of it with me at once when the day comes. Can I store about 100g in one of those resealable sandwich bags? Or will it ruin it or not be safe?

i'd advise against it.

a sandwich bag is not fully airtight and offers limited protection against oxygen and moisture. over time, the plastic's permeability to air could allow oxidation and degradation of the compound.

you should use an airtight glass/plastic container ideally.

Do you think it would be ok just temporarily on the day before I use it so I can transport it without taking the entire container? If I use a large one which I squeeze the air out of and fold it over several times? I will try and find something better to use instead though

temporarily it should be okay. ensure you store it in a cool, dark and dry environment and double bag it.
