• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

    Donate via cryptocurrency:

    Bitcoin (BTC):
    Ethereum (ETH):

It will, it impairs judgment making it easier to do risky things.

It's a mixed bag. As the user above said, it impairs judgment, but that can go both ways. It can make you MORE unsure about killing yourself, since you lose sight of the reason you even wanted to do it in the first place. Of course, it can also make you more sure about doing it, since you can't recall why you wouldn't want to do it.

Generally, though, survival instinct does go down.

Sadly, like with other substances, it depends. Sometimes it can help but other times it can make your SI worse, or make you hesitate. Can speak from personal experience.

I wouldn't be sure, honestly. It's a downer, so there's a chance it could help, but it could also make you severely susceptible to breaking down and being overcome by emotions. I honestly don't think you're fully ready to ctb if you can't trust yourself to do it sober.

I think it can, but it can go either way. I wouldn't want to risk it interfering. Also depends on the method, for SN I wouldn't want it to possibly have an adverse affect on the meds or SN itself. Other methods like hanging, it may help, but depends on the individual.
