A Nigerian man died after drinking 8 cans of Bullet Energy Drink. He did this as part of a bet to win less than 100usd. After he finished the last can, he became unconscious and was pronounced dead a short time later. It is unclear how much caffeine is in Bullet, but it seems comparable to that of a Red Bull. Source

Ok so can this be a viable method? Get a hotel and ingest caffeine to the point of death.

I've read about this before(not this kid tho).

Some people were drinking to much red bull and it was causing heart attacks or something like that. The article I read had said some people died because of the od of caffeine.

I won't do it because I HATE the taste of red bull or any other energy drink. Mountain Dew is my source of an energy drink.....

I considered this method using pure caffeine powder, it would likely do the job but could be quite painful.

You would need a decent amount... as some who used to take nodoz a fair bit.. large amounts of caffine can leave you feeling pretty sick and kinda out of it... i never did it with intention to ctb though.

Suddenly multiple threads about caffeine over doses. But i did a quick internet search and it seems very painful and unreliable. I think people looking at caffeine should pivot to sn immediately.

Everything is lethan in high doses.. its just if yo uh wanna go fast, slow, peacefully, in pain ect.

I had thought about CTB by caffeine overdose, but it is pretty painful from what I've read about it and it isn't the most reliable method. Though it is possible to OD and die from caffeine OD. Caffeine is often considered a distant relative to cocaine.

Even a successful death would be HORRIBLE. Take a dozen No Doz and get back to me on how you feel about caffeine.

One day i googled out of curiosity how much Redbulls do i need to drink to die, and the answer was 104. Considering that even the day i drank 5 i felt horrible, dizzy, heart beating fast, hyper agitated, i imagine that the quantity of caffeine necessary to die (20 times that amount) would just be HELL. I think that putting oneself to fire would be less painful honestly.

I thought about this before. On one really low day I remembered how some people had died from caffeine and that caffeine pills were sold close to where I was.

It was a very surreal experience to go in and buy some. I could just walk into a store, grab some pills, and go home. No questions asked.

I had planned to test out how I felt about this method and only bought one package of it.

I went here and searched this method and found how others didn't recommend it. So now I have a pack of caffeine pills I don't need.

Don't even bother, super unreliable and you would have to consume so much that you would probably get sick and start throwing up long before you reach the lethal amount. People who die randomly from a few energy drinks likely have some unknown heart condition.
