Help Buying SN

Hello I was wondering how to know that the SN bought online is good and trustworthy I have been looking and what I have found is "Reagents Sodium Nitrite, Purified, 500 g | Cole-Parmer" but I am unsure how to tell if this is the correct one to order. I have ordered in the past and it did work but I ended up being hospitalized and not dying due to that otherwise it would have worked. Unfortunately the one I had bought in the past I can no longer find online. I am in the US I am trying to figure out which SN to order and safely so I do not accidentally get the wrong type. Thanks in advance!
another issue I am having is what I am finding costs 50$ and I am trying to find the ones mentioned in the SN mega thread that are obviously cheaper.

there are different grades of chemicals and the one you found is one of the purest and thus also one of the most expensive ones (second only to analytical grade)
sodium nitrtite is definitely the thing you want (keep in mind nitrite not nitrate) but there should be cheaper options if you search a little
