• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Edited title, was a question.

Asking for a friend who bought from science stuff instead of food stuff (IC or DD)

I had aquariums. Ammonia killed super fast, nitrites killed fast, nitrates killed very slowly...

Can we die if we take nitrates if we take much more? Wouldn't we die even faster if we drink ammonia?

Bactetia in the filter purified it, but oxygen can turn a powder of nitrite in nitrates?

Asking for a friend. (For real) He's devastated. What would have happened to him? Is it usable somehow? Maybe we should call it SNitrite? Or SNii? Easy mistake if we only say SN...

Verify your souces with friends here?

Maybe asking where they took their SN in goodbye posts wouldn't be rude after all... We might prevent accidents...

I don't think so. That is why people worry about SN converting to sodium nitrate.

Nitrite = NaNO2 can kill you
Nitrate = NaNO3 does not kill you
