I feel you. Though I scrolled 9gag which is somewhat worse with all the mysogynia and anti-trans stuff between the funny/informative stuff, so I constantly have to be on guard not to let that junk into my brain. I just haven't switched to anything better yet.

Fun fact, I used to go on 9gag (for the memes) when I was in uni, back in 2016-17? It wasn't always easy to avoid more toxic takes and I imagine it didn't get any easier.

Thanks... I quit halfway through, though. Too much sadness, SA, emptiness and visions of a lonely life in the future. Brought back CTB ideation. Do not recommend it...

Maybe. But right now action movies which are low-key funny while people die feel disgusting to me. Sick of love stories. Comedy seems superficial, or just doesn't get it for me. Maybe I should rent "Turtles all the way down", I already read the book which was ok-ish and it would be nice to see this laid out with real people.

I'd love to watch "Rings of power" season 3 but it's not there (yet?), and "The Wilds 3" got canceled. Only other option I see is "Piccard", that at least I don't have to spend any money on. But a future of Star Trek without Data feels sad. I think I saw a photo of Seven of Nine in there, that might be worthwile.

My comfort movie is Paddington (y'all can laugh). These days I don't watch/do much. I didn't even finish season 2 of the rings of power (I like it and lotr overall but with low motivation it's harder to keep doing things). I've started the expanse, which is good, but yeah same problematic, no motivation

I think The Expanse is pretty good! Although I still don't understand why they have these problems with acceleration during fast flights. I get it that acceleration is difficult for your body, but once you're at maximum speed, there wouldn't be any acceleration any more. Screw physics, just watch it, lol!

I watched The Handmaid's tale up to season 5 and then waited for season 6. It was difficult to push through that last season. Watched the last three episodes in one batch to be done with it.

I'm afraid of that, too. The similarities between the story and Trump's ICE are concerning to say the least.
