Mods sometimes get involved when you post something that explicitly violates the rules (though sometimes not). I've seen mods intervene when threads turn into off-topic flame wars. With that said, the person who bombed a fertility clinic in CA basically outlined their plan on sasu and mods didn't get involved. So it can be a pretty high bar sometimes lol
