It's kinda sad that they won't be able to use the same OST for the remake, even if I'm sure Toby Fox and the rest of the new composers will do a great job.

It seems like the original composer didn't want to participate in the remake, and Mortis Ghost didn't have the rights to use them.

I'm not sure why he didn't want to, it seems like "he felt nervous about signing anything and disappeared". It's sad but I'm not blaming him, he would have his own reasons, and it's not like we can't keep listening to his music anyway.
