Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Hello hello,

I am going to be doing a full suspension hanging soon (probably), but one thing that is tripping me up is rope thickness. I often see 10mm and 12mm thrown around, but I also see people say that works for people with an average weight. How about people, such as me, who are overweight (~95kg)? Is 10 or 12mm still safe, or do I need to go up to 14 or 16mm to minimize the risk of the noose snapping under my own weight? I do not need my attempt failing because I'm too fat.
