I'm pretty dead set on this method but the problems I have is that I need perscription painkillers to number the pain and I can't find an artery in my arm. Anyone know any ways this method can be more effective?

I wouldn't even consider it. It takes a ridiculous amount of time (agonising death and more likely to be discovered and saved), even longer if you only manage to cut one arm (it's often so painful people who try cannot cut both). To the best of my understanding the artery is deep and hard to find and it's pretty easy to miss it and survive. If you survived you'd also end up with horrible scarring and almost certainly end up in the psych ward. I'd advise looking into other, more effective methods, or if you're willing, to look into recovery.

Majority of people who die from blood loss isnt through suicide but some sort of trauma incident to the body. The media have made this method seem alot easier than it it. I really would urge you to reconsider.

You can cut your carotid arteries and die quickly through exsanguination. You can cut your femoral arteries and die quickly through exsanguination. The first is in your neck, the second is in your legs, but both are covered by layers of flesh that are hard to cut through. The pictures of corpses that I've seen of the people who died this way are gruesome.

It must be very slow, i think. I heard, do it in warm water is more painless. But it is not a way for me.

If you cut those arteries I mentioned it's fast. Exsanguination can happen in minutes. The problem is it's hard to force yourself to cut through them.
