• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    ๐Ÿ‘‰ View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Congratulations! ๐Ÿพ ๐ŸŽ† ๐ŸŽŠ You have just caused yourself to become elected to the highest office in your country. Now, Mr./Madam President, what are your top 3-5 priorities?

The War on Drugs? Corruption? Healthcare? Radicalism? Price inflation/wage stagnation? Mental health? National defense? I'm just tossing some generic ideas out there.

What would you do as president to help fix these issues?

1. Have a panic attack.

2. Arrange meetings with people in all the specialist fields who (should) already know what they're doing.

3. Lay down firm principles. Make it clear I won't tolerate corrupt practices. Get rid of shady looking people.

4. Figure out what needs proritising and work out budgets accordingly.

I doubt I could be an effective leader though. I'd maybe give it my best shot but in this world, I wonder if a leader or country could even survive if it didn't partake in backhanded deals and corruption. I expect it would be so depressing to actually witness all that goes on first hand and to have to try and negotiate a way through. Can you have a truly moral leader in this world? That tries to benefit all and exploit none? Capitalism doesn't work like that. So- isn't the question more- How good are you at balancing being ruthless and fair?

I don't want to be in charge. There are not enough people (by miles) who want a better world for everyone, so it would be nearly impossible to fix most of the things that need to be fixed.
