Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Diazepam did not help me sleep tonight, today I'll go to the family doctor and have some stitches removed, I'll ask him for 1 sleeping pill prescription medicine. I need it, I'm confident I'll get it. Any suggestions?
Try 4 Benadryl. If that doesn't knock you out in about 30-45 mins, take 4 more. Note, this produces more of a black out than sleep. But it's cheap and safe. Can get benadryl or generic diphenhydramine over the counter. The chewables or liquid caps work the fastest. You can pop the liquid caps in your mouth. This will make your mouth go numb temporarily.
To take the edge off, beer, wine, pot.
To help reduce intrusive thoughts, GABA
To deliver a knockout punch, Benadryl
However, sleeplessness can last longer than remedies are effective and remedies can produce their own problems. The optimum solution is to resolve the issues that interrupt sleep.
works for me most of the time as well. I', allowed 100-300mg depending on how bad my insomnia is. Lets say I never rarely ever need to use 300. Usually 100 does the trick.
yes benadryl helps a lot of people sleep. If you haven't tried it before give it a shot. Good luck with doc! and sleep
I had horrible nightmares with Quetiapine, one of it was so real, I had a nightmare I was taken by terrorists to Syria. Woke up screaming. Glad you don't experienced that.
Valium isn't a sleeping pill tbh
As mentioned above, zopiclone or zolpidem.
If you don't want to end up being completely addicted, take them only once or twice a week, or only for two weeks.
They're not sleeping pills but mirtazapine used to knock the shit out of me and recently I was on olanzapine (an anti psychotic) which I had stopped yesterday as it wasn't working. Which isn't much help, sorry.
I had trazedone prescribed to me while I was hospitalized to help me sleep. And currently I have a doctor that prescribed me quietipine fumirate(spelling might be off) which absolutely knocks me off my ass and gets me a good deep sleep. If I don't set an alarm I can get a solid 15 hours on that stuff.
Quetiapine is the next medication for sleep which I have never tried in my own case.
For ages, temazepam was my reliable standby, but it no longer works for me. Currently, 20 to 25 mg crushed zolpidem is alternated with eszopiclone, but eszopiclone is not 100% reliable for me. (I try augmenting eszopiclone with melatonin supplementation, but I seem resistant to melatonin, something which worries my psychiatrist and primary care physician. Originally, they were telling me that melatonin could NOT fail, as it is a naturally occurring hormone, but then I dosed myself with melatonin immediately before undergoing a failed sleep study. I am rewriting the clinical records a bit, but I would much prefer that things which are "guaranteed" to work actually did work as advertised.)
For cases of biological attention deficit hyperactivity disorder like mine, the absolute WORST possible medication to take for trying to sleep is BENADRYLor any other over the counter drug containing the antihistamine DIPHENHYDRAMINE. With AD/HD, avoid Vicks ZzzQuil or anything else containing diphenhydramine. And if you have NOT been diagnosed with AD/HD and find that diphenhydramine revs you up and keeps you awake, then get yourself an evaluation for AD/HD, since diphenhydramine is not the only drug or medication your body will respond to paradoxically. (And if any medical doctor anywhere contradicts what I am saying, then that medical doctor is a charlatan, a quack who needs to be fired and avoided at all costs.)
My brother just told me today to buy CBD chronic candy gummies, he says it works wonders for him, I'll buy them the 26 , when stores open
I ran 6km today after small surgery for two weeks rest, I hope I sleep Damm better, it has gotten worse since I stopped running
Promethazine is good as a long term sleep medication. It's not quite as effective as other kinds, it's not going to knock you out straight away or anything, but it does help and you're able to have it as a regular thing.

I use Promethazine, it is good because for me it can help calm me down and also makes me sleepy. I have struggled both falling and staying asleep and this is the best I have tried to date. Also good because you can buy it over the counter (in the UK at least) or get it on prescription

Learning this the hard way, I fried my brains ability to sleep without them. I've been slowly tapering off them. 12mg of doxylamine last night and got 4 hours of sleep so not complaining. Dph and doxy are both 1st gen antihistamines and both worked initially then gave me a dry mouth and made me loopyheaded without any sleepiness. I've been trying complete physical exhaustion and magnesium and melatonin OP. I'll let you know how it goes
I took 5mg of Zolpidem (Ambien) for about a month a half while dealing with a herniated disc in my back. I think 5-6 weeks is the max recommended if taken infrequently during that time. However, my pain level was still at about a 5 or 6 out of 10 even with painkillers. It was a bitch to start sleeping without them when I ran out cold turkey. I basically had to eat a CBD/THC edible every night for a few weeks...and then eventually had to cut that too.
Ambien is probably my favorite legal drug after Adderall which I take for ADHD.
Severe depression doesn't let me sleep and 15 mg zoplicone doesn't work well either.
it's never a good night sleep. Hungover feeling and always tired. this
this life is hell

I feel you butterfly... and now i am over the depression symptoms and still..... some days this life is hell in deed. Even without the suicidal feelings and thoughts.. .but dam... I spent 20 years derpessed, its hard to get on top of things, and move on you know.
I don't find it very addictive, but my doctor says that after 7 days +, the effect goes down quickly. I also get this "iron taste" in my mouth from Zoplicone (Immovane).
Actually my current situation, slept at 00:15am woke up at 5:30am
About the best I can do, I'll go for a run...
No pills at the moment, and i want to get off the weed.... So I'm not smoking either
