Method Best firearm and ammunition for ctb?

I'll have the funds soon to get myself a firearm. I was planning on getting a Mossburg with 00 buckshot, then a carrying case or something with luggage so I can get inside a hotel to ctb.

Anyone with expertise, especially in the US, got any recommendations? I know there's a three day wait and I'm fine with that. Just need the best and most affordable firearm for the job. I don't want to botch it.

aw man i just got this ammo and 12 gauge shotgun, love it hope it will blow my brain out. it's supposed to take out large bears so hopefully it will take out my head
