Discussion Best caring people i have ever come across

Hello guys,
I just want to share how i feel about the people here. Most of the people are struggling with physical/ mental illness,and still u are so kind and the way u are framing the sentences and makes me believe that all of you guys are intelligent and deserves a better life. I am very angry that society brought us here. Everyone should be given the chance to die if they continuously asks for that.

I agree. It's tragic we all had to meet each other this way but I'm infinitely grateful for the support on here. I've said it before - the users on here are some of the kindest, most decent people I've ever communicated with in my entire life.

This site and forum are indispensable. Having a place to "speak freely" and connect with others in similar boats...the kindness, empathy, love...the support, it has kept me going to this day.

I was originally a frequent commenter on r/sanctionedsuicide and when the sub was banned, I eventually found or was recommended (can't recall which) this site and was able to reconnect.

This site just gives me another reason to believe that being a kind and decent person isn't rewarded in life.

Society gaslights us as children telling us that you should be kind to others, but why? It seems like you're rewarded more in life for being selfish. People reward those who are selfish.

Humanity is inherently flawed, we look up to and revere people who are cruel, mean, and unkind.

I share the same sentiments as well, when reddit banned SS and TSS, I was on TTG for a while (but eventually grew to dislike that subreddit too as it was too limiting on what was allowed and wasn't (no method talk of course), then one day I was perusing this site (late summer 2018) and decided to join. It was one of my best decisions that I ever made. Also, this place is like a secret home to me, able to talk about what "really" bothers me without fear of judgment, detainment, and/or other pro-life spiels.

We do not deserve to suffer, be lonely and struggle in our lives.
But we deserve a forum like this where we can feel free to talk about what tortures our souls.
We deserve lovely and caring people who will not point a finger at our faults, but who will support us.

I'm trying to be kind to everyone here and I hope I didn't hurt anyone. To be honest I've never met people in real life who would want sincerely to take care of me, usually those people just try to get your trust and then take advantage of you - this is what happens to me all the time. And this is internet, you never know what to expect. Of course there are scamers and good people, but even if someone really gives a damn about me, it's kinda hard to believe, so I hope you understand me.

This website is amazing. I've not come across one jerk so far. It's like those with a caring soul are drawn to this website. It's an amazing and friendly place where the people actually care about others,which is unfortunately hard to find in real life nowadays.
