Besides si, why does partial suspension fail?

I have a good rope, I can tie the necessary knots, and I can get a hotel room.

Problem is I've been browsing hotel rooms online and in most of the pictures, the towel rack is above or near the toilet. The pictures that show the closet have shown a wooden bar for clothes.

I read if you hit the sweet spot (carotid arteries) you pass out but if you hit the jugular the blood pools in your head causing a bunch of pressure and it feels like you're head will explode

Personally I couldn't get passed the head pain and my own SI to stumble on any other issues

Would you mind sharing some details on that rope? I've attempted partial few times, but I didn't succeeded. I don't know if I've failed because of my technique, or because of my rope - the one I've used had rough texture, so maybe it was preventing slipknot to slide easily. I wonder if buying better rope would help.

It is an SI issue. No other reason unless the set-up is poor.
