Large doses of Benadryl are extremely unpleasant. You have terrifying hallucinations that you can't distinguish from reality, like having fully convincing conversations with people who aren't there and seeing insects crawling everywhere. The bodyload is very dysphoric and every physical sensation is uncomfortable. You have to pee every 20 minutes yet it can be near impossible to get the pee to come out. And just because it's a sedative doesn't mean you will pass out. Higher doses actually make you feel uncomfortably wired. Like all you want to do is fall asleep but you can't.

I would never consider trying to OD on it. I'm sure it would be a horrible way to go and you may just get yourself really sick and not die. You might be so delirious that you wander into the street and get the cops called on you.

In the internet, it says that 20-40 mg per every kilogram of weight one could have would be enough. However, I do not know veracity of this. One must investigate oneself in deep.

Don't do that. It was my worst overdose and experience the hallucinations that start it's just not worth it. You deserve a much more peaceful way out

I ODed on Benadryl a long time ago. I fell asleep for a while, then woke up with horrible hallucinations. I was hearing things that werent there. I was terrified and called 911. They pumped my stomach, fed me charcoal, then sent me to the mental hospital for 2 weeks.

Benadryl will make you hallucinate and probably delusional too. I know it made me thought people were trying to kill me.

What if you took Benadryl and like a really strong sedative that will keep you knocked out?

In my experience benadryl wouldnt kill you unless you took a huge dose. I used to take up to 30 pills not trying to attempt and I would wake up in the morning fine. Also very horrible side effects.
