very true, even here in my region, there is a requirements to look attractive to even be a cashier, sounds ridiculous but its true . indonesia

Someone showed me an ad for a Burger Stand cashier job in the Philippines. "Must be 25 or younger, female, and beautiful."

Then they showed me a hundred more just like it. Disgusting.

Too embarrassed to even go in the gym, no clothes for it, requires gaining a lot of muscle just to sit and with that comes a lot of fat, or losing the weight first which would decimate muscle even more, and my diet is terrible, I never learned to cook bc I'm a loser and don't know how to keep calories low without it costing a lot of money.

It is definitely unfair. But beautiful people don't have it easy either. When you get up in the morning, you aren't thinking about how good looking you are. You are just thinking about how to get through another day. I'm sure there are good looking people too on this site. Tell me this woman isn't pretty. Good looking husband, a kid, adventurous life and she still couldn't be happy. Ended up suiciding by not opening her parachute.

I honestly don't understand why beauty was created in reality in the first place. It should only be for those who have earned it. there is nothing that justify its existence.

Unfortunately. Beauty, talent and intelligence. These three things are just gifted to people upon birth. I hate it too. This is what makes life so unfair.

It was thought that the reason why might be due to facial symmetry being an indicator of genetic quality, which would be something more important to take into consideration when looking for a partner within a tribe where the mortality rates are higher. Of course, these are just two cultures and more research would probably be needed on this, but this may indicate how environmental factors can also play a role in the degree to which universal indicators of attractiveness dictate our preferences.

The point is that attractiveness is complex and can be influenced by many factors beyond just genetics alone. Oftentimes, a lot of things come down to a complex mixture of genetics and environment and attractiveness is no exception to this.

Man is this place impossible to live in when you look like this. No one will talk to you so there goes social skills and happiness. Can't work so there goes all of that and money and self esteem, purpose, everything. You eat bc theres nothing else to do and it makes you feel good for a second
