Well look like the doctors are going and try to cut sum of my meds. They say i am taking to many opioids tablets. I am on codeine and tramadol plus oral morphine for when the pain gets really bad. But i think know what the real problem is it costing NHS A lot of money i should be paying for all three which is about 28 quid . As i am on universal credit i get them free but now the sods are trying to cut my money down anyway they can . I work the best part of my adult life 30 year's plus and paying into the NHS and other things they happy takeing my money but when I what sum of it back . Make me feel bad and i like sum sort of free loading scum . So looks like i got a fight on my hands with the doctor next week . Thats all i need if my stress levels go up any higher i am going to blow a gasket. I hate life you all ways have to fight for every thing but then i look at other people and they just get everything throw at them. It pisses me right of then they moan they dont have enough. You try and be honest and truthful as if you lie you get court out and you get crap on . But others lie cheat and be dishonest and get treated better and get everything they want. Its a mess up world be glad to be gone sum time soon as long as i don't get cut of my meds. Well calling a night see if i can get any sleep to night if not be my 4th night with out sleep :( tata for now.

It's very cruel of them to just cut you off your meds like that, especially if you need them for pain. Although we don't have the same type of health system in the US that you have in the UK, we also have lots of people who get cut off of their meds when they can't pay for them or when they have paid into the system all their lives and then they retire and go on Medicare. Medicare doesn't cover everything and you still have to pay large amounts of money out of pocket to get everything you need. I have pain issues myself, though so far I'm lucky enough that I don't usually need opioids to treat them. For right now, I can treat my pain with large amounts of ibuprofen. I'm sure at some point in the future I'm going to need opioids as my pain seems to get worse the more time that passes. I'm sure when I really need the opioids I'm not going to be able to get them because of how they've cracked down on them here in the United States. I always wish that the doctors would be forced to experience the symptoms that their patients are dealing with so they can get some kind of idea of what they're going through. I don't have a very high opinion of doctors in general and I think most of them are a bunch of jerks(and that's the family friendly version of my opinion of them). I've never met a doctor that was really worth anything. They all think they know things about people that they couldn't possibly have any idea about. And of course, whenever their so-called treatments don't work, they always blame it on the patient.
I also agree with you that it always seems to be the losers and the "lowest common denominator" people who get everything.
For example, here in the United States, I can't get a decent cold medicine anymore because they took all of the ingredients out of the medicine that actually made the medicine work properly because meth heads were using it to make meth with. So rather than actually doing something about the meth heads, they're punishing the rest of us that don't use meth by taking away a medicine that used to work for us when we had a cold. Now the only medicines they have are either medicines that don't work, or the medicines that do work they put behind the counter and you have to sign all these papers and get the third degree from the pharmacist and be treated like a criminal before you can get the medicine that works. It's total BS!
And now they're doing the same thing here with opioids. If you're a person who happens to have a condition where you need opioids in order to not be in constant pain, you're treated like a criminal. Meanwhile the people who are actually abusing opioids don't get anything done to them. In fact, there are cities in the US that want to set up so called "clean injection" sites for heroin users so that they won't inject themselves with a bad needle. What the fuck do I care if they inject themselves with a bad needle?! I think if you're out there doing heroin, you probably have some kind of a death wish or something anyway, so who the hell cares if you inject yourself with a bad needle. And of course, my tax dollars are going to be what goes to supply the safe injection sites. I'm telling you the whole world is backwards. All the assholes seem to get everything handed to them, while the rest of us suffer and struggle for everything that we get! :hmph:
Anyway, I wish you luck in getting some rest.

This has happened to me too. The FDA and the CDC are putting extra presusee on doctors because of all the overdoses of people who are actually addicted to these drugs. I mean the people who are getting high recreationally off of them. If they overdose that's no reason to punish us when we are the ones who truly need them just to be able to get out of bed in the morning.

I just thought of another one. They used to have this cold medicine inhaler thing called Zicam. The main ingredient in it was zinc, and it actually worked. My husband used to get it all the time and when he had a cold, or when I had a cold, we would sniff it at the first sign of a cold and it would literally knock the cold germs out. You could take the stuff when you felt like you were having a cold and it would eliminate the cold so that you didn't get it.
So, of course, people started abusing it. People were sniffing it when they shouldn't have been. The problem came because if you sniff too much zinc, apparently it inhibits your sense of smell. So if you sniff too much zinc you don't have a sense of smell anymore. When the company found this out, they panicked and decided to remove the zinc, which is what made the product work, from the product. So they still sell it, but now when you buy it, it doesn't do a goddamn thing to help your cold. So, once again, the people who abuse something, ruin it for everybody else!

Welcome to the USSA. It's no longer a free country, the people who want socialism and communism, totalitarian regimes always seem to win and destroy everything.

Very true
I don't know how
you feel about Trump, but he is the only thing holding them back. For now.
Right now I'm listening to the bee gees. I'm very drunk right now. I've been drinking white rum & 7 up for several hours now. I have been listening to the bee gees for a while now. Their early stuff is very depressing. Listen to the song " Horizontal " and tell me they are all disco fluff.

Things like this make me very glad that I never worked a real job in my life despite being in my late-20's. I would've been furious if I lived as a wage slave for a system that I wholly loath and despise only to kill myself before I get to collect social security. Not only that but It gives me some feeling of revenge that I only costed tax money and a lot of it too. Social security probably wouldn't even be there if I were hypothetically of age to collect on it anyway. This was 100% unintentional though and had I not been caught in a very ugly situtation that is driving me to suicide, I would've lived to be another white collar tax bitch for greedy politicians and shameless single mothers. If I were to not kill myself, I'd have to live a miserable life just to contribute to baby boomer retirement... I shudder the thought.

It's all a scam.
