TL;DR
My grandfather kicked the bucket, left some money.
Uncle kept the money in accounts for my siblings and I
My mom tried to steal it.

Ok, so, idk who is even following my story, probably no one, but my mom is a bigger piece of shit than I realized. Since I live in a closet I often hear everything going on in the house unless I have my headphones on. But sometimes when I can't be around I use my little sister as a plant gathering intel. My little sister(9) came back to me and told me that apparently my uncle had secretly made accounts with money he inherited from my late grandfather for my sister(16), my brother(15), and I(18)
That my mother cannot access. You can probably guess why.
(im 99% sure he isn't aware that his 2 nieces and nephew turned into 9; yeah, there's 9 of us in total now)

Anyway, my whole life I thought I had no other family. All of my extended family are either estranged from my mother and by extension, my siblings and I,
or
Dead

But, I'm so glad I had someone looking out for me this whole time when he certainly didn't have to and has his own children to worry about. So, yeah that gave me some hope for sure. It hurts that my mom wanted to take money intended to invest in our future for herself.

Anyway, I'm definitely gonna use the money for college and save like hell cuz I damn sure need it.

Cool, hope ur able to access it in a reasonable timeframe, and good luck with college ^^

As for me, if I get some $, a moderate portion might go into a trust fund or trust funds. Since I probably won't have children (climate change risks, cost of living, and risk of that child experiencing serious mental health concerns, plus I am slightly reliant on others for food, etc), I might set some for donation, some for keeping servers I made running (tho will have to migrate them to VPS or so, find moderators for the chat, etc)

Tks, I do have a moderate amount in investment, tho looking forward to working and paying off the Higher Education Loan Program debt (it doesn't have a deadline, but is indexed to inflation, so grows a little yearly, and is many times the ETF at the time of post)

The info stays inside you. No one can force you to share any intelligence you do not willingly intend to - that's a thing of the past.
